An apology to the community here

I’m sorry for disappearing so suddenly and for so long.

For most of the time I played I was either unemployed or under-employed, and grappling with deep depression.

I stopped logging in because even my normal escape, playing here, stopping giving me a sense of relief/escape. What started as not logging in for a day, turned into a week, a month, etc. … which did nothing to address my depression, but simply added a layer of shame for abandoning games and ignoring messages.

I have my life in a better spot now, moved to a new state, and have a reasonable job. I also hope to start playing again, although I’m more than rusty.
