Great that everyone is playing again.
Happy with whatever the majority want to do re nation selection. My own suggestion would be to carry on as we are with dice rolls because it’s simple.
Again, happy re any variation in the CP bid, particularly if it varies the standard pattern of play. A G factory in W Prussia is an interesting suggestion. But also leave T’s starting bid unchanged, as it is the sick man of the CPs.

@dawgoneit fine with me as well. especially since I played against the buffed Turks twice and got them when they got nerfed again… cry
And I also get the fleeing that we try to fix an inherently flawed game for all the right reasons with the wrong methods. :-D

Instead of industry tech to Turkey, I still think allowing every player the G40 style minor IC. It especially helps T, since he can build cheaper ICs in great locations like Meso and Armenia.
If you don’t like the minor IC for everyone and 3 inf for Turkey, then perhaps :
since 3 inf and a tech were too much and 3 inf without tech were not enough, how about just the tech? -
@fmerwinrommel how would you implement it. I like to stick tongue tools we have and not sth we need to edit all the time or need to remember

@elrood There would only need to be an adjustment to a player’s income for minor IC builds, which wouldn’t happen often and once they are built, no further adjustment required.

Allowing cheap IC for Turk in say Meso, would give him a jump on Arabs. Currently, only gas can reach in 1 turn from existing ICs, unless T got mobile cav. An IC in Meso would shorten march to Mecca for inf and art. Would that be too much advantage?

I think so . I want to see Mecca captured no earlier than it normally is .

@witt the advantage of industry would also be that Turks do not need to roll on that table and have less uncertainty.

Im ok with just tech for Turks if we want to do that. Maybe we can try Rommel suggestion next time if people don’t have fun this go around

choose either:
A) keep as is just 3 infantry for T
B) or T gets 3 infantry and industry tech as used to be
C) or T gets just industry tech
D) or go with whatever the majority decides
