    When the AA missed, I thought great. Then I got 2 hits out of 14 rolls on  R1z
    I would offer back one of the AA, but I went a second round and you may have needed the extra inf for a third, if R2 had gone better for me.

    You were right, maximum land defense says to take the AA guns as casualties in the first round against any credible attack.  I actually worked out a table once showing the defensive value of AA guns that showed their value relative to how many shots they would get to take.  After shooting, their only value is to take one hit.
