      My two cents, been doing this a LONG time here, seen a few playoff, year end, and league changes.

      Any games played in the league thread count in the standings, BM, OOB, P2V. People who choose to play here agree to their opponent and which version is played. Simple.

      For year end tourney or playoffs, players can agree to the version of the game played, and if they can’t decide a standard is selected at the beginning of the year, let’s say the most popular version played the previous season, as an example BM.

      That’s it. One league thread, One league standings, let’s keep it simple.

      Is @gamerman01 still around? is he still maintaining the league standings doc? If so has he chimed in?

      hello everyone, first let me say how nice it is that there are active players who want to improve & grow our league! I have been playing here for a long, long time, before there was any formal league, which we first formed, I believe, around 2005, anyway, we began with a playoff type format which was changed, years ago by the most active amongst us to the system we have today, which was developed by, and continues to be administered by Gamerman. Thank you @gamerman01! Personally I think the system is perfect as is, but with that said, I do think there is room for more tournaments. There is a league post season tournament based on the current league scoring system. If someone is willing to put in the work to get this started I am sure Gamerman of DJensen would help get it running. That might provide the “fix” some of you are looking for right now.

      Someone, design a new global version of A&A that raises our heart rate again!

      I have played A&A&Zombies and it is a hoot, a perfect “beer and pretzels game” as players used to say. But most of us probably wouldn’t play it very many times.
      FABULOUS entry level A&A game, and also VERY interesting for veterans.

      Has the total number of players decreased year over year? I can understand why less games are being played, for reasons already noted.

      The pit that forms in your stomach when you are ready to ask people for a game and you notice @Adam514, has just done the same…do I want to lose to Adam again?!? Maybe I should take a short vacation, or pretend I didn’t notice he just asked to play a PTV game…hmmmm Still unsure what I want to do here…

      @GeneralDisarray and as an FYI…for whatever reason, I haven’t received Marti dice results for a long time, maybe a few years, so I don’t notice when an opponent roles dice, this is why I didn’t respond when you started rolling.

      It’s probably a spam setting, but the results don’t even go into my spam/junk folder?

      @GeneralDisarray I thought we could save the file in between dice rolls? Perhaps, not? But yeah, I get that, sorry for my part in this. So here is what I suggest, we can scrub this game, I guess the easiest solution.

      or, you can roll everything here in the forum. there is a dice formula, I forget what it is exactly, and we can do this old school. Type out the defensive rolls by unit, recording hits etc…this allows for slow play, or we could do this and commit to being online at the same time, which would speed thing up. Once we know the outcome of this battle, you could go back to triple A and proceed through the entire American turn and edit the results of this battle.

      For future games I would suggest that when we encounter a battle that needs OOL to be called out perhaps we can both agree to be online at a specific time.

      Let me know what you think.
