Hey Dizz, I talked to DayMar the other day and I think he is forfeiting all his games. He isn’t really a PBF or PBEM players (just lobby). It doesn’t look like any of his games have started so can probably just consider them all loses at this point.

How does double elimination work? I mean if you win one and lose one, what happens?

You have to lose twice, after you lose once you go to the left half of the bracket and you get to player losers until:
a) you lose again and are eliminated
b) win in the losers final and then get to play the winner of the winners half in the grand final for the titleWhere you lose in the winners bracket decides where you start in the losers bracket (the more wins you have before you lose, the more to the left in the losers bracket you start).

No, Balladeer. A one was always a miss, whatever your to hit bonuses and a 20 was always a hit, whatever your negative factors. I thought a roll of 20 on a Vorpal weapon,

But yes, even in the old days it will sever the neck/head of its opponent (provided it has one). “The DM will note that there are many creatures that cannot suffer decapitation due to lack or mutability of form. There are also certain creatures that may have heads but will not necessarily be killed by decapitation (among these are dopplegangers, elementals, and golems).” – Advanced D&D Dungeon Master’s Guide (1979)
My best characters were of the Ranger type, so a “good” alignment was required for them – however, I tended toward the “chaotic” side of good. :)
Now that I’m less young and idealistic, I think I would tend toward true neutral and become a Druid. Heck, maybe I can still do that in real life… :lol:

I knew it! I hated Rangers and Druids most of all. I was a nasty 1/2 Orc Assassin or Human Cleric. (As a good Catholic, being a devil worshipping, undead controlling, money grabbing, human sacrificing, gold greedy, man of the cloth, came naturally.)
