OK, I was comparing, but I should have added on the end of the statement “while it takes two hits to sink an undamaged battleship” :-)

And, of course, a sub can sink a damaged battleship with a single hit and that battleship cannot fire back, whereas an undamaged battleship (or carrier) can absorb a sub surprise strike and still fire back!

Would there be any issue with starting a game off forum and counting it towards the league standings? I have an opponent who want to test out a secret strategy for use against someone else. But I don’t want to let him (Bold) off the hook with a nonrated game 2. Maybe if we post a start thread and the bid but don’t use the thread otherwise until we post the results?
