    The German’s did okay, getting 1.5 hits more than expected.

    Although the UK AA underachieved getting 1 less than than the expected 2 hits, the UK 2s got 2 hits above expected and the 4s hit on all 4 rolls (1 above expected).

    So on balance, the Germans ended up with 1 less tank than expected but 1 more fighter than expected–not a crazy outcome I always fear when the probability is only 98% chance for a success (even in really big battles).

    I think I contracted your Martiinnitis in another game I am playing in which my 1s and 2s regularly miss and all six rolls for my UK attack on the Italian fleet in SZ 97 (1@0, 2@2, 3@3, and 1@4) missed. The probability of such an outcome is somewhere less than than half a percentage I think. It came down to an Italian BB against a UK bomber and, as Marti would have it, the BB hit and the bomber missed. Needless to say, the game is deep in the tank. So I have empathy for the Allies plight, but I’ll take any break I can get from soulless Marti. :)

    yeah dice can suck! we all experience it……i need a nice positive dice outcome in this game “when it matters”. having above average AA in the Uk would have been a blessing, oh well…perhaps later

    Blitzed Scotland with a tank, but the program would not let me return the tank to the UK. Strange. If the rules have changed regarding blitzing a enemy territory and returning to the attacker’s home territory have changed, let me know. If so, then Germany will NOT blitz Scotland and its ipcs can be reduced by 2.
