I don’t know…
There could be collusion with an ally that has a general near your border to build troops, essentially for you in a place where you could not get them. Is that an issue? Can cash donations take a game turn to get there? Not saying no, just pointing out issues that popped into my mind. -

Yes it is supposed to be played in order, but you can post your offers prior to your turn if you want to!

Perhaps delayed at the port due to quarantine restrictions. Vague, unspecified reports of plague requiring at least a one turn delay. But perhaps your envoy will be happy to attend the Free Andalusia celebrations? Spain would have a full plate after that with liberating additional territories in north Africa for next few turns. Freeing territories, fighting pirates, etc.

Hey fellow Napoleonic allies and opponents - I had no idea it was my turn for politics, when I checked last night. To my untrained eye, politics weren’t being done in order, but seemed like more of a free-for-all approach. I know it’s not as exciting, but to prevent confusion in the future, I’d like to humbly request that we do our politics in order.
I admit that it may be that the politics were done in order, and I’m just not bright enough to follow along. :-D
Also - even though I’m quite addicted to A&A etc. - I have a job with regular hours, and a family when I get home from work. So if I check in at 11 at night, and it doesn’t seem like my turn, I won’t be checking the site again until 6 or 7 the next night.
I’m not making excuses, just setting expectations for my involvement.
So I’ll download the map, consider what everyone is up to, and post my politics within the next 1/2 hour.
