@SeaYa I might do that physical option. It’s a split nine to ten hour with two stops, one down and one back. That would work pretty well, if a bit different.
Rocco WW2 leaders
-
I know, I was going to buy them from HBG but I quess he sold out. This is the website that I found them. http://www.fidelismodels.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=EM1157&Product_Code=Roco_271&Category_Code=Roco_Herpa_Figures. Hurry up, there is only 3 sets left.
-
About how big are they? In relation to an A&A infantry?
-
I think I saw that they are 1/87 scale. I little smaller. But these are politicians so they’re supposed to be small. Stalin was a midget both mentally and physically.
-
I think (if I am not mistaken) all of these figures are from 1/72 scale.
So they would be close.
-
They are exactly the same size
-
Stalin was a midget both mentally and physically.
:-D
They are HO or 1/87 scale. They fit the OOB scale more or less
-
I use them. Put them on a thin dowel, same thickness as the bottom of the infrantry piece and they stand higher then anything else so I can see them buried in a stack. Use like 26 generals in one of my games. Just paint for country color for now. They also have number values under them. Nice paint job.
-
Cool. I wasn’t too concerned. Aside from politicians being small, it would be nice if they were slightly bigger than OOB infantry, just so they stand out more.
-
Do they make any others or does a similar company make some of the other leaders? Pacific at all?
-
I just finished another set of WW2 German leaders.
-
couple more
-
Very Nice!
-
Georgemak1,
––Although the pics are quite fuzzy, I’m VERY IMPRESSED at the quality of detail you’ve achieved! All I can say is Wow! Keep up the good work!
----Just to be sure,…these are the Rocco figures that are approximately the same size as the OOB A&A Infantry units, correct?
“Tall Paul”
-
They are exackly the same size Tall Paul. The last 4 pics arent Rocco leaders but a set of leaders from Odermars.
-
Hey… didn’t know about the leaders from Odermars… where can I find those in the UK? And does anyone make any Pacific generals/leaders?
Yeah Paul, I second that size confirmation, the Rocco figs are the same size as OOB, I haven’t gotten around to painting mine yet…
Cool pics George.

Ive got mine from this website, http://stores.warstorecollectibles.net/-strse-657/Odemars-%23PF05-German-Commanders/Detail.bok
If you are in UK you can also purchase them on HBGs European website. Somehow I wasnt be able to fill out my order from there to US, but you shouldnt have any probs. They only make German leaders. It will be awesome if HBG can sculp the rest of the countries, or at least include 2-3 historical leaders on each set. We should start a petition all of us and present it to Doug.

----BTW, Thanks for the link above.

So this question is for anyone: What capacity are these leader pieces used? They are very cool, but I’m not sure I understand how they would be used.
-
Nice work!
-
The ones Georgemak1 pained are NOT Rocco Leaders just to make sure you people knew that.
Rocco figures are much more detailed. You just glue the painted figure on a national token with a small washer underneath.
