it seems a bit “all or nothing” for germany though. I haven’t actually gotten through one full game as the allies. Have you ever experienced germany taking london on T3 and not winning as the axis or the reverse, G get’s diced and doesn’t take London but somehow pulls out a victory later?

you are feeling that confident in taking London huh? I must say I am very impressed with some of the moves, forethought and general decisions/strategy you have employed this game. You certainly seem to be making the most of my poor decisions!
The naval base on the JPN island is one example. Makes perfect long term sense not that this seems to be a “long” game. I need to give much more thought to my decisions and play.
