    I made an US edit in the UK move, I hope you believe me there not at all any influence by UK dices in it. I simply realized the option to Bombard the London AB with IT and then take off SZ110 quite easily which would considered to be game over. Not sure if you would have done that attack but I did not want to invite you. Please let me know if you are ok with it.


  • Crud, another problem with Triple A.

    It is illegal to pick up 2 ground units in combat move and only drop one on hostile territory.  You have to unload everything on the transport.

    You may leave the artillery in Gibraltar, or drop it off on Normandy, but it can’t stay on the transport if you drop an infantry in Normandy.

    I guess I should wait to do Italy’s turn until you decide.
    I will add it to my Triple A problems list.

    Changed my mind about it because otherwise SZ92 is as weak as 110 would be after SBR. So I put my DD at risk in order to make the SBR less attractive to you in order to dodge 3x1s to get a 66% shot at 110.

    Wow, you were fast^^ I did not know that, I thought single unloads were allowed. This sucks of course :( I need to think what to do!

    Me too, until about a year ago…  Kind of a strange rule.

    Now, if you already had 2 units on the transport from the previous turn, then you can drop 1 in combat move.  Also, if you already have ONE unit on board, you can pick up one in combat move, and drop that same one off, keeping the previous one on.

    What you can’t do, is pick up 2 ground units in combat move and only drop 1 off.


  • I thought they were as well. Gamer, do you mind giving me chapter and verse? My playgroup plays with the assumption that single unloads are allowed. So I want to be able to show them because some of them won’t accept that ‘some guy on the internet told me’ story.  :roll:

    “…it can also remain at sea with cargo still aboard (but only if the cargo remaining aboard was loaded in a previous turn, was loaded this turn in NCM, or was loaded this turn as part of an amphibious assault from which the transport retreated.”

    So here is a revised map. Under the given conditions I would then simply drop both, Normandy and Holland. Then of course sz110 was not in danger anymore.
    So I apologize for the confusion and hope you accept the posted map.

    I guess you believe it has absolutely nothing to do with any UK dice outcome.

    Please let me know if you can accept this.

    So the last issue is the British Cruiser and the US DD.
    I asked for the US NCM change.

    So technically the posted map would be the pre-dice map before 119. Moving the DD now back could even have been result orientated in case the Sub would have survived.

    I am really sorry for the confusion.

    Here is the map again, there is now 2 option:
    1. Play with that map
    2. Keep the original US5 position, put DD from 92 to 110 and in this case UK Cruiser from 110 to 92

    In the new setup I would obviously prefer Option 1 but as I created this mess I will of course accept any of your choices.
