    So here is a revised map. Under the given conditions I would then simply drop both, Normandy and Holland. Then of course sz110 was not in danger anymore.
    So I apologize for the confusion and hope you accept the posted map.

    I guess you believe it has absolutely nothing to do with any UK dice outcome.

    Please let me know if you can accept this.

    I will allow a change in the combat move to land on both territories in West Europe only if he re-rolls Z119.  JDOW agrees

    So the last issue is the British Cruiser and the US DD.
    I asked for the US NCM change.

    So technically the posted map would be the pre-dice map before 119. Moving the DD now back could even have been result orientated in case the Sub would have survived.

    I am really sorry for the confusion.

    Here is the map again, there is now 2 option:
    1. Play with that map
    2. Keep the original US5 position, put DD from 92 to 110 and in this case UK Cruiser from 110 to 92

    In the new setup I would obviously prefer Option 1 but as I created this mess I will of course accept any of your choices.

    From glancing at the board earlier, you seem to be holding your own. I didn’t do more than glance and that was a round or two ago, so I don’t know what the map looks like at this point. And Gamer’s tough, although the allies are his forte so he’s somewhat handicapped. Congrats on getting him to give you the allies with that bid!

    I’ve noticed you’ve been avoiding our game recently. Could those 6 lost fighters have something to do with it.  :evil:

    Besides, the allies ARE your strength . .  . so I need all the breaks I can catch if I hope to pull off the win.  :-P


  • No, I am often not very prompt to make a USA/China/UK move in a contested game, even in round 1.  I need a big chunk of time, a lot of energy, and motivation to make those USA/UK moves.
    ALSO, I like to keep 1 move in my pocket.  I don’t want to have the A&A itch, and have ZERO GAMES TO PLAY!!!  :lol:
    Also, I normally make smaller, easier moves (like this Italy move) before big USA/UK moves.  I often don’t play my games on a FIFO basis.
    Also, it has only been a day and a half!!  That’s not much of a delay, the way I look at things.

    But #1, I often put off USA/UK moves because they are big and intense.  Need a big wide open slot of time with no distractions….  :-)

    USA/China/UK should not move backtobacktoback

    There are too many Allied powers (ANZ should not be a separate power - they were not that significant, from what I’ve read and watched)

    Should be G/R/J/US/I/UKandFra

    Yep, that’s the way it should be.  Then UK could break up Italy can openers.  Italy can openers shouldn’t be so unstoppable.
