    ive made too many mistakes as well….the uk med fleet should have rushed home versus taking greece, then I could have probably blocked another invasion of the UK. The usa fleet should  have come down to aus right away, and the aussies should have been buying more men. I almost saved one fgt to take out that trn off west aussie, I was planning a counter to retake the capital but I didn’t get a defensive hit and with the western trn you can come back in…

    very frustrating…

  • Your synopsis is pretty accurate. Those moves probably would’ve salvaged it. This is a learning experience for both of us. I’ve never played a Sea Lion out past the initial invasion (from either side). Had no concept of how rough it’d be. Probably need to invest a little bit more in the pacific with the US as well. Russia is a huge bear atm and they could probably handle Germany on their own (after the first ~3 turn investment). The dice definitely haven’t helped. Started out pretty fair, but turned on the Russians and SZ54 went better than it had any right to.

    Also, even if you’d saved an Aussie fighter, I would’ve NCM’d the transport (loaded) into 62. It was definitely the right move to scramble all, just got hit by bad dice.

    Dice aren’t ever a reason to apologize. I’ve been here long enough, seen some crazy dice. Sometimes the dice gods bless you and other times they laugh at you. It’s part of the game. Unfortunately, it seems, the only place to vent is in the thread. I’ve tried to vent to my wife when I get “DICED” but she has no clue.  :lol:
