@simon33 Sorry. Travelling. Will continue on Sunday or Monday.
Re Nornandy. Yes, sorry, I wanted to write a note (that you edit it) with a savegame but forgot.
thought i was gonna lose this one possibly, altho sweeping the middle east gave me some hope
nooo 25 is too much, you’re playing really well
LOL, 22?
i’ll give you 21 as i’m feeling generous lol
ok, fair
Also, upon reflection I could have mitigated that NG shit by having the US and Anzac switch which side to hit, so, yeah, the dice fucked unimaginably, but there was risk mitigation that I guess I didn’t see
sounds great, i’ll set it up a bit later

yup exactly my thoughts too, for something so critical…
yeah this is why I have hesitated to come back to the league… with kids, work, wife, blah blah, just don’t have the time to beep bop boop shit down to that level as much…
playing at AD level takes an hour easy on USA/UK move etc
yah but you’re only playing one game, you should be able to afford that time. you’re too good a player to completely disappear. the league needs you
lol, thanks
@Karl7 Help me understand this:
Combat - ANZAC
Battle in New Guinea
ANZAC attack with 1 artillery, 1 fighter and 1 infantry
Japanese defend with 1 infantry
ANZAC roll dice for 1 artillery, 1 fighter and 1 infantry in New Guinea, round 2 : 0/3 hits, 1.17 expected hits
Japanese roll dice for 1 infantry in New Guinea, round 2 : 1/1 hits, 0.33 expected hits
1 infantry owned by the ANZAC lost in New Guinea
ANZAC roll dice for 1 artillery and 1 fighter in New Guinea, round 3 : 0/2 hits, 0.83 expected hits
Japanese roll dice for 1 infantry in New Guinea, round 3 : 1/1 hits, 0.33 expected hits
1 artillery owned by the ANZAC lost in New Guinea
1 fighter owned by the ANZAC retreated
Japanese win with 1 infantry remaining. Battle score for attacker is -7
Casualties for ANZAC: 1 artillery and 1 infantry
If this was a game deciding battle and taking NG was crucial for the survival of the US fleet, why didn’t you take the fighter down after round 2 and at least try to win a 1-1 arty vs inf battle?

LOL, yeah I guess so. The answer to your questions is that (1) I am dumb and didn’t do that (2) I was stupefied by the dice and/or (3) I am rusty and have been too long away from you savages
