No problem. I’m now thinking that I played the UK turn too cautious. The way I’ve played it, I think I can just get better odds on a G3 attack on London (depending on how the bombing goes). Being down two fighters and a bomber (and the lost income from your subs in 106 would have certainly shifted it to you, but the investment to take it would still have been a huge risk and would have put the Soviets in a better position. I’ll be curious what you think of that. I have a tendency to try to give myself the best odds possible on defense even when I can get away with more risk.
I’d also be curious if you would have tried blocking vichy here. I don’t have a great sense of if/when to do that.

I think perhaps one adjustment you could make to what you did is, to buy a tp for s.a. and only 7 inf for London, and then also bring 2 or 3 of the uk pac figs in range to help save Egypt. I think then you could get to reasonable enough odds to save Egypt, yet still pour most of your purchase into the safety of London. I didn’t calculate whether two fewer inf in London would make a big difference, but I suspect it should be enough to dissuade the germans from going for it.
as for Vichy, every now and then I do that by transporting in troops to s.france, just to spice up the game a little and make it a different experience. there are tradeoffs, but most of the time I don’t bother to do it.
