I’ve been doing this here before 2006, many, many games in the league, was an active MOD for many years as well and I can’t recall such a request in the league or in any tourneys. But, as my mother always said it does’t hurt to ask, right? So after just reading your recent pm to me…the only outstanding issue is whether you want to submerge the G subs and your OOL for the navy.

And then you are sore because I don’t let you change everything after the fact to your advantage once the USA attacked?
If you were unaware, in the league, versus the other gaming thread, we play for a ranking and possible playoff spot. If this were in the gaming thread, where I sometimes help new players get started, I would also have allowed the “oops & redo”. Everyone else I’ve played has been super chill and want to play peoples best game and are liberal with edits that are not the result of combat. I give the edits both ways too. I had an Italian can open on Smolensk and Moscow plunder the guy didn’t see until way after Russia’s turn and I let him go back and edit Russian inf there. And that wasn’t even a result of poor game visual representations, he just simple missed it. I didn’t play edit Nazis on tripleaA and I see no reason to play them here either. It’s not worth the time or the headache. I just let them think they have won, put them on my don’t play again list and move on with my life.

No need to apologize and I appreciate your opinion. Not that I need to provide clarification on my decision but in the league or in tourneys I simply draw the line at requests such as this, that are made a few turns down the road and only after after your opponent realizes their “blunder”. We all make mistakes such as this, I certainly do and I live with them once they get to this point. This is my internal guidebook and as all of our rules allow, I hold my opponents to the same standard. If that means I am not Super Chill, well then I am guilty as charged. 8-)

I have been doing this here for WAY too long, played thousands of games against thousands of opponents and I have never found myself in this situation. You would be extremely hard pressed to find anyone that would say anything negative about my history here or doubt that I am not all about contributing to an active and fun gaming experience for all. I contribute both my time and money on this site. I welcome newbies and help them along and find their way. In my many years as an active MOD I have seen people throwing tantrums like this before, sorry, this qualifies as a tantrum. And typically the second or third tantrum is days, weeks, months away and then they leave. Time will tell if this is the last such issue for our gaming friend.

No worries brother, I can respect your opinion here. Ya know, It’s really quite simple. We have a set of rules, all we need to do is follow them…mistakes are made when we play, abide by the rules that govern us, get over your mistakes, I do & carry on. simple…DarthMaximus and myself drafted our first set of league rules back in 08-09. Following them has served us well. No need to change now.
Yes you did in many ways. I particular by laughing at me when I asked for a perfectly reasonable edit. But also I find your overly legalistic attitude nauseating. I’ve also changed my mind about conceding. The opportunity to whoop on you a bit before never playing you again sounds like too much fun. OOL is max defense and lose subs if possible.
My unsolicited thoughts on what appears to be a pretty tight game…
Had pherman known that the planes were all in algeria he would not likely have left his fleet to die at their hands. While his request to change did come multiple turns down the road, it wasn’t until he was attacked by planes he thought could not reach that he realized his misreading of the map. Tough one - I’ve been there. I’ve learned to carefully confirm what is where on the map using the “territory” tool - when you don’t, things get into the gray which is where y’all are. Hope you can work it out.
Just wanted to make sure you are aware that I did not post this game and that we’re continuing.
OK, I feel bad for getting personal I apologize. Let’s have some détente. You caught me off guard a bit by not allowing the edit and then trying to leverage back to Anzac’s turn in exchange. It felt rather shallow to me, but I get that you don’t know me so the edit might be an issue to you. I’m used to playing with people who know me and would have no problem with an edit like that. Just proceed with your turn and let’s both agree to not get mouthy about it again.
