I was very lucky in that battle as I got 3 hits in the first round. Then in the second and third the Sub hit and it had to be on the surviving two ships. I think I did the fairest and right thing in choosing casualties as I was always thinking of how I would have wanted it to go. Please look at Marti and tell me if you think I could have done it differently. Bear in mind I was always going to keep the Sub as I was after the Carrier, so your planes crashed into the sea if I let it take a hit.
Feel free to have the damaged Battleship instead of the Carrier. -

Re the battle, now I have taken a step back and be able to think about it, I realise there was a better solution for you.
If your three casualties become CV damaged and both Air, you would have got 4 shots at my Ft and Sub, not 3.
Please roll a 3 on the forum for a Cruiser . I do not know how to do that.
If you hit, I would have also lost my Sub and, therefore, never got that last hit on you. I have  edited the Battleship back in. If your Cruiser misses, please edit out either the Battleship or the Carrier.Excuse the confusion and two messages, but I wrote this one on the PC, thought I had posted it as I had to rush out of the house, then saw on my phone I had not done so. This explains why I  editied back the Battleship.

Is the Sub going to stay in fight on the battle in SZ37?
Bear in mind your Battleship is damaged(when I edited it back in, I did not know how to damage it). -
no submerge. To amage it you ight have to go back tot he start of the turn and before your combat movement into that zone, turn on edit mode, click the battleship and then “change unit hit damage” to 1. I’m not quite sure what happened when ANZAC attacked that little fleet when it was still next to Dutch New Guinea but whatever.

I am sorry for the confusion, but I am sure I have done the best for you.
I hit 3 times and in my mind I wanted to save the Carrier(mo damage) as to lose it meant your two planes would crash into the sea if I pulled out after one turn.Then I realised the best 3 casualties for you to lose were the planes and one hit on the Carrier. That left you with 4 ships. My one Sub was never going to get both the Carrier and BB as you had two Cruisers too.
On the second round I got two hits out of my two and you got one put of three(Battleship, art and Carrier).
On R3 I kept the Sub in the hope of hitting a ship again. I did.
Your surviving ship hit too.The problem was that I was obsessed with saving the Carrier for you and needed to sit back after the battle to realise I had not served you well.
So I gave you the Battleship back and damaged the Carrier instead.

I wanted 3 hits on R1 and when I got them, I suppose I was not thinking straight.
I was trying to do the best by you and in the exhilaration and stress of the rolls, lost my head.
I knew it was a suicide mission, but I felt I had to do it and hope to damage your fleet sufficiently to blunt you. Not having a DD in your SZ gave me hope of success.Please say if you are still not clear or if unhappy.
I am sorry I pushed you to play a League game. If you are not happy we can void the game. -
That’s OK. What you can do usually is ask the opponent for their OOL and let them live with whatever they decide. Anyway no scramble, and the battleship is damaged so use edit to sink it if you don’t get both hits.
