It was stacking Burma. Nothing can really prevent an India crush; all you can really do against it is build infantry and either sit there or pull out to West India. If you stack India you will die anyway, but you might get to shoot down a few planes. If you evacuate to West India you can trade India back and forth with Japan a few times, which gives them more money (each time they take it they get UK Pacific’s income, plus they collect for it and the NO), but they don’t get to mobilize units there so it slows them down. The good thing about India crush from the allies point of view is it can cost Japan a lot in other areas like the convoy raid you have going.
I do not play much and heard about it here on the forum, so was interesting to see it happen(albeit against me).
My hope was that I could hurt you elsewhere.
I did think you could sink my US fleet and take India. I moved the US fleet there thinking I would lose it. Would that have been a mistake for you? Trying to do too much I meant.
Will look in the morning, but am surprised you left me alive. I suppose I can only move two SZs and you can move and hunt me down regardless.
I also wanted to drop two units in Siberia, but the AI would not let me.
I thought the two maps were considered separately and war on one side did not effect the other. Is that only for Russia? Will check the rules
It wouldn’t let you put troops on Soviet territory because as of USA’s turn, Russia was still neutral. I actually considered attacking India and z6 at the same time, but I calculated that I would lose a lot of air units doing that. The consolation prize is I got to sink the ANZAC fleet.
One trick I like (but I didn’t do it this time) is to build a airbase in Shan state and land all my planes there the same turn as I crush India, and move the carriers back to. Next turn airstrike anything in z6 with those carriers plus I can mobilize new ones in z6 as potential landing spot.

I was very lucky in that battle as I got 3 hits in the first round. Then in the second and third the Sub hit and it had to be on the surviving two ships. I think I did the fairest and right thing in choosing casualties as I was always thinking of how I would have wanted it to go. Please look at Marti and tell me if you think I could have done it differently. Bear in mind I was always going to keep the Sub as I was after the Carrier, so your planes crashed into the sea if I let it take a hit.
Feel free to have the damaged Battleship instead of the Carrier.

Re the battle, now I have taken a step back and be able to think about it, I realise there was a better solution for you.
If your three casualties become CV damaged and both Air, you would have got 4 shots at my Ft and Sub, not 3.
Please roll a 3 on the forum for a Cruiser . I do not know how to do that.
If you hit, I would have also lost my Sub and, therefore, never got that last hit on you. I have  edited the Battleship back in. If your Cruiser misses, please edit out either the Battleship or the Carrier.
Excuse the confusion and two messages, but I wrote this one on the PC, thought I had posted it as I had to rush out of the house, then saw on my phone I had not done so. This explains why I Â editied back the Battleship.
