My gut says this one will take many rounds to play out (barring a major mistake). I am just waiting for that tech roll hammer to fall and the US gets improved shipyards or an air tech.

The tech stuff is indeed very interesting. Statistically Gamerman meanwhile runs under EV with his tech rolls. I have to say that I never made any tech roll in my life, however I meanwhile learn that more games than I thought take 10, 12 or even more rounds –> The longer a game lasts the more valuable tech rolls can be.

Hey Gamerman,
I forgot to move my Germans in Africa during the CM phase (all non-dice, walking into empty territories). Is it okay to EDIT those moves now (it seems analogous to sinking the Japanese tt on UK6)?
Sorry for the delay on this turn by the way, I was having a great deal of trouble deciding how to handle Western Europe.

I originally intended to walk into undefended SW Africa, Rhodesia, and Tanganyika. I just forgot because it took me so long to decide on my Buy/European stance.
No other combats took place in Africa, or created a need for landing zones.

yeah that downgrade really hurts when the allies are coming hard.

The big thing, I think, is that it’s the only factory that builds into 112, and since he’s been building his fleet, a total of 3 units per turn on ground, air, and sea units is restrictive…
Which is what I was hoping for… I paid the price in taking it. Had to get lucky with a Russian sub sinking a destroyer blocker, too.

Hey, sorry to bother again.
I hope I may ask (I guess it it in hindsight and should not influence further action, if so, please accept my apologies) if the Baltic States attack was allowed by G8 on purpose or if just something slipped through.
I guess in G8 it was possible to send 2 fighters from Western Germany to Baltic states after e.g. attacking Holland. With 2 fighters more the odds would have completely changed.I always feel a bit strange in asking these questions but I am following some selected games and I hope I could utilize them to learn.
