    with respect to the UK fleet, I didn’t really think they were really exposed. I might of overlooked the number of Air that you could bring to the fight.

    Although since the begining I have felt that I was outmatched and therefore just screwing around. I have been trying to learn while playing and you have taught me much.

  • I’d have to agree. Without a British presence in the Atlantic, Germany can go whole hog east. With the Japanese encroaching on India as well, it was going to be a very tough row to hoe. Good game to you, it’s quite fun to play against nice people :).

    agreed, perhaps I can give you a bigger challenge next time…besides the stupid mistakes what was the major flaw (s) in my approach to the allies?


  • Your Russian play was superb. Best I’ve encountered yet. I’d say the African and Pacific campaigns were the weak spots. I’m a big fan of the British going Toronto almost no matter what. Shutting Italy down is a major key. After Italy’s fleet is dead, a couple subs parked in SZ97 and 93 make sure they stay that way and collect <10 IPCs. Also, the pacific fleet movements seemed a little hesitant. The most successful allied strategies I’ve seen hit Japan hard and quick before they could balloon up. All warships with America and leave the tranports/island swapping for ANZAC cleanup. ~round 3 or 4, Japan really has to cower away from an aggressive American fleet. However, after two or three turns of 70+ IPCs, Japan is hard to bring back to Earth.
