Yeah, J1 used to be the gold standard in the OBB. I thought I would see what it was like in Alpha3. The upside is that Japan can really kill a lot of stuff right away. More in fact than it does in a J3 or 4. 2nd, it deprives the allies of the ability to expand and build up via the DEI.
The downside obviously is that the US comes in right away.
So we will see. Maybe I’ve doomed the Axis, but tired of playing the same old game.

Yes, it’s one of the assets of 1940 that different decisions of DOW creates many different scenarios.
It will be a totally different game than the J4’sNo other games to play, so maybe I will move today after all?

Don’t you use “show new replies to my posts”?
I have it on my list of games to play by using this feature, so it’s not going anywhere. If you use “show new replies to my posts” you will know when I have made a move. I guess I just don’t understand why it would need to be listed in the first page of games under “league”, unless you are not using this feature?

It’s not a function, it’s a link. Look to your top left, under the greeting “Hello Karl7”
When you’re done viewing a thread and you want it to show up on the list, just click “mark unread” toward the top right and it will show up in your list of “show new replies to your posts.” -
Hey, I went and for kicks checked the map and saw I made a dumb error… the Japanese bombers should be in kwa not sia… I have no idea why I went and parked them there other than the ftr survivied when I thought it would die and just parked them all together. I didn’t think that one through… may I change? Obvisouly I doubt it made any difference to your tach roll… :wink:

Glad we’re playing BattleMap… I’ve been playing MrGreen on the regular boards with trippleA and have been getting killed, not so much in win v. losses (which I think we are about even) but because my losses are epic screw ups. I think I am getting the hang of trippleA but it is amazing how a change in interface with the game can screw you up!

God, don’t even worry about it. I buy cruisers when I want to buy dds. I can’t see a lot of the map so I forget to think about german air units sweeping me out of 91 and landing in north Africa, I bomb installations but can’t tell how much I bombed… yada yada yada…
TrippleA is smooth, but in its smoothness I feel it deprives you of scrutiny…
