    The American AA in Baltic States keeps me from taking Karelia, but screws over the Russians on their NO.  Not sure if you realized that AA guns count as Allied units for that NO purpose, but mentioning it to clarify the issue up front.

    I realised that. At this stage the allies will be in russo territory quite a bit.

  • Ooohhhh - that’s a big pet peeve of mine.
    When you have more than 1 damaged factory, you need to specify which factory(s) you are repairing during the purchase units phase.  It is a potential unfair advantage to leave it unclear and then decide at the end of the turn.  If you don’t state which factory you’re repairing, I don’t know if you’re exploiting this unfair advantage.  Please don’t do it again - thanks a lot.

    I was a bit confused as you listed the CHI battle first and then didn’t do it? Obviously you couldn’t as you didn’t have enough bmb’s & inf! Also, yes, the SBR S/B first! This can give you an unfair advantage. Please don’t let that happen again.

    Human error.  I forgot it, and the moment I realized it, I rolled it.  You can expect me to be perfect the moment that you attain perfection, but you’re far from it, I’ve seen.  And in my opinion, failing to roll a single SBR before a couple of minor skirmishes gave me absolutely no “unfair advantage”.  Are you being sarcastic?  Are you just trying to keep up with my pointing out your errors?  I mean, I’m a little bit perturbed at this comment because when I realized it I immediately acknowledged that SBR’s are technically supposed to go first, and I rolled it.

    If I’m not allowed very minor human errors, then I don’t think I’m fit to play against you.  If you think I’m being too harsh by pointing out rules that you are obviously ignorant of (saying I’m the first to ever point out that you must declare locations of damage repairs), then just say so, instead of saying “don’t ever fail to roll SBR first again”.  I sense you are resenting being corrected?  Lighten up, please.


  • One more thing I just realized.  I caught the SBR immediately after 2 amphibious assaults that I couldn’t retreat from.

    So forgetting it had ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT.  Also, forgetting to delete the attack on Chi may have confused you for a moment, but again had ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT.  My innocent human errors in the first round or two of Germany’s turn could have given me an unfair advantage, had I contrived them, which I did not.  I have not made any errors like that since you tactfully pointed those out.

    I’m doing my best to type an accurate game, and normally I do better than most.  You need to make some small allowances for your opponents’ innocent human errors, because you make them too.
