  • Since my defenders in Belg could only retreat to Serb, I decided to defend it with everything, fighter and building max trenches. It reduced your odds of winning from guaranteed to probable… But likely negative TUV and few troops left. I knew the gas could attack Rus instead, but I would lose cheap, weak conscripts. Your battle calc odds were breakeven and negative TUV. Serbia is looking safer now. Rus has mostly conscripts and had to build more of them first turn due to low income. So you’re likely safe.

  • Ouch, Germany rolled well to make up for prior misses, particularly in E. Poland. Well played, didn’t foresee Germ splitting and taking both Mex and San Fran. Also taking both Est & Lat. I had considered Est in our prior game, but didn’t think worth it with my big push into Scan. Germ march up Baltic coast to St Pete takes too long, and Rus in Bela threatens move to Lith. But your max trenches behind the front lines in War, may indicate that’s your plan. Since its a friendly game, I don’t mind giving some state secrets. Surprised how Germ income skyrocketed.   • French destroy the Hun invaders in Champ. Had an 80% chance of victory with 11 troops left. Was worth the risk of a bad first round. But it was better than average, so continued. Could have retreated after second round to avoid your counterattack. But another good round meant I could do more damage than I received. Any counterattack now would cost you HGs, Finally got a tech on third try. Gobbling up cheap neutral and Germ territories, but not enough to make a big impact. France and Italy safe for now and Serbia holding on. Turks having to divert troops against Serb.
