It took me a while to figure out this turn. I’m feeling like I am giving you the Italian fleet on a silver platter by sending it out, but it seemed equally suicidal to hold it in 97. With the right Italy/German build, I thought I could do enough to maybe discourage an attack, but that seemed to be the wrong use of money.

yah the fleet is doomed, just a matter of time. maybe this helps at least delay it, especially the convoy that usually follows. you might even get some of air in exchange, depending on how things unfold from here.
