@timothy-gengarella In OOB, Netherlands would go German. With the Diplomacy expansion, they would go British. But most players put in restrictions that an attack by a major on a minor must have an actual attack of some sort to prevent it from being taken advantage of.
[Global 1940] Escort Carriers

I figured 8 was too low, given than being able to be in two locations is worth >0. Perhaps 9?
-
I would make the escort carriers 7 IPC, but with only 1 movement as they only travelled at 19 knots, not 33 knots like the big fleet carriers.

That’s a great idea!

You should probably have subs only move 1 as well then. Might need to drop em to 4 or 5 bucks.

Can’t really make them move 1. Some could go 30 mph or what knots it is.
I think u need to leave escort carriers move 2.
There were to many of them and it’s one of those things in game where it’s more of play then historic. If 1 move then add to setups a possibility. -
@gen-manstein 30 mph sub in WWII ? Hadn’t heard of that. Must’ve been a late war model I’m guessing.
Yea I agree with playability keeping them at M2. Obviously doesn’t mean you couldn’t have em at M1 but transports didn’t haul ass either. You’d have to do some tweaking for sure -

WT$. Dam. UK subs kinda sucked.
Looks like a whale. No wonder it couldn’t go faster than 12 mph. Is this when the whale wars started with Japan ?
Japan had fastest subs early.
Japan I-15 27 mph 16000 m. 1940
Italy Archirede 20 mph. 12000 m. 1939
Russia. K class 26 mph. 16000 m. 1939
U boat u-505. 21 mph 16000 m 1941
US. Drum SS 228. 24 mph. 13000 m. 1941
UK T class. 12mph. 10000 m. 1939
Seems UK subs mostly used in Med. based on travel so far.So not quite 30 mph. Think another Japan sub was 29. Anyway this is enough for me to keep them M2. Except maybe UK. Can see why there’s not hardly any in Atlantic.

@gen-manstein wow never realized that. Thought they could only do like 4 knots submerged and less than 20 surfaced on average. At any rate good info

Yes they do go way slower submerged.
That be something to see. EC, Subs and Trannys move 1 only. What’s the US gonna do. Slow them down -
@gen-manstein yea i’d almost go at it the other way and make the CAs and fast BBs go 3. But that will create it’s own issues. Besides 19 knots is over 20 mph anyway
