Am looking at Anzac moves and think that would have helped me more.Can’t believe you have made me abandon those Filipinos months after returning the islands to US control again. You are proving a very frustrating opponent. I cannot believe how many Bases, Factories and now ground units you seem to have all over the Pacific.

Also - I’m starting to notice that you’re not as “noob” as you make things out to be.
You might not be the most outrageously incredibly player I have ever seen, but you know your way around things and are an incredibly competent and thorough opponent, and could face off against “the best” just as well as I could.
Some moves you have made, are not ones I would have, but they have been thought through, and are mostly style decisions more than “mistakes”.
In fact… I don’t think you’ve many that many mistakes at all.
This has been a great game so far. :)

I am sorry if I mislead you. Of course I have owned both Editions since they came out, but have only ever played about 10 games face to face, mostly against my best friend and Maddy’s godfather. Now he is an accomplished player and thinker.
He always plays the Allies or the North in my Civil War games, then we switch and he beats me when I could not beat him.
You can imagine my victories against him are few, but bloody sweet!
I know you and many others here have played 100s even 1000s of games; it was to this which I was referring when I said I was a beginner.
I am happy to give you a run for your money, but hold few illusions of ultimate victory.
Should I have stayed of the Philippines and sacrificied my fleet for the greater good, or did I do right in saving it fior another day?
Now you can move North or retake your two lost DEI.
