I’m not really seeing it, as most were small battles with only one Chinese guy. I came in with overwhelming fire power in New South Wales, so a first round wipeout was assured.
As for your rolling, well 2+2+4+4=12 / 6 = 2 hits, statistically. You got 1 instead. that’s not a big “getting diced” battle, in my mind.
The other battles sum up to be 4 2’s. That’s 1 hit with a 1/3 chance for a second. You only got 1. Not a game changer there either.

no you’r right, no big battles went too bad, but the 97 battle you got a straight wash and all these little battles are killing me… my units seems to just on the low side while yours are average. That New South Wales I should got 2 but only 1. Maybe not a big deal by itself, but al these little battles add up… particularly when you’re going hard charging… every battle counts.

ok, I went back and looked at the battles I see what’s annoying me is that you’re taking pretty good risks, attacking land stacks with planes etc, and they are all coming off ok – not awesome, but good enough. It seems for me in my last 20 games if I do that it blows up in my face…

Ah, don’t worry I complain about dice too. It happens. The ones that get me are the big game changers. It’s only happened a few games, but there have been some whoopers: I’ve got a 98% of winning, and I should survive the big naval battle with 12 units, instead I win with 3 damaged battleships, losing 2 battleships & 2 loaded carriers that all should have survived. then the allies move into Europe when I should have kept them out and won the game.
Then there’s the more annoying ones where you get nickeled and dimed in every fight. In a recent game for a couple of rounds, every land unit in the Pacific got perfect rolling against more poor Japanese. Every Chinese infantry and UK dudes Hong Kong, and US guys in the Philippines, every one of them hit. That kinda thing takes the fun away.
