It’s a great sim, though unlike aacalc, you can’t do 1/2/3 round odds, only full battle runs.
I think the odds of UK victory are in the upper 50s … would have been higher if US took NITA since the UK could have brought 3 additional planes.

you are right. that first round attack with the brits won it for you. 7-11 hits. so many vairiables there. the usa fleet battle was super close, the brit bmb vs the ita dd, s.ita and n.ita were all close battles…I didn’t think you would go for s.ita… :-o

I did an ool for you based on what I would have done. assumed you would fly the French fgt onto the cv, therefore I kept the cv from harm, also you had no where to land the your fgt’s if you took the hit.
I should have had an extra fgt in that attack from the beginning.
I continue to miss the small details, in all games, it seems. I should have attacked s.ita w/4inf & art vs the arm.

really upsetting…I don’t think I could have fcuked that up worse. I should have gotten out of that fight w/three hits on your navy and then retreated with the two hits and saved my entire navy. Then, regardless of your French fgt support, I could have mopped up with the 5 ger fgt’s…
kept my navy and you would have lost yours. now my best bet is to hope to get to your navy with my fgt’s but without the entire ita navy…augghhhhh, real disgusted.

I think I have said this 5-6 times this year, I keep snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. The worse one was a game against karl where I had him down and out and then I dow on Mongolia because I had nothing better to do with japan, not knowing that all the neutrals would turn pro allies…

You can redo Italy on low luck if you like as well as change the Germans to Italians, so long as you grant me a low luck turn or battle do-over in the future (either in this game or in a league rematch, assuming you want a second game).

low luck…ie BB + art = 6 to hit therefore it scores one hit and if it was an inf & BB it would hit at 5 therefore you roll a dice and it hits as long as you don’t roll a six? etc…Never played low luck before but I believe that is the way it goes?
Pretty much. Add up all the attack values, divide by 6, if there’s a remainder roll 1 die and if it’s the same or lower, that’s an extra hit.
1 dd, 1 ca, 1 bb = 2+3+4 = 9 attack
9/6 = 1 remainder 3
then roll 1@3
Rolls: 1@3; Total Hits: 11@3: (2)
In the above example, that would mean they hit twice … once automatically, then once for the remainder roll
It isn’t necessary to do manually though, it’s a feature in tripleA too, you can check the low luck box within game options after loading the save file but before clicking “start PBEM”. Then the program will automatically do it.

So If I understand correctly…my N.ITA forces (3inf & art) attack the lone brit arm and they auto hit because they equal 6. Therefore your arm defends and needs a 1,2,3 to hit… I will roll here;
