    Is there anything you’d like to go back and redo? I don’t mind one bit, this is such a large game that mistakes are common.     thanks for that. the dice worked out the same, i think and I know my uk atlantic naval fleet is in danger but I believe I need to keep the germans working both fronts……hopefully my fleet can defend better than the last one you sunk off of gib!


  • Not a problem. I have no issue with letting people redo things as long as it doesn’t come across like they’re trying to game dice. Plus, after 3 games against wheatbeer I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get the politeness stank off me. That guy is so nice and considerate it’s almost disgusting :P. Especially aggravating when he’s beating me like a rented mule….

    Now for some good news, bad news. Good news: your british fleet is in absolutely no danger! All of my planes are going to head east, I just needed to buy one round’s worth of time. Bad news: I can’t let you keep that bomber in the Med, it would throw off the balance of power too much. Sorry, but it’s going to have to die. Good news: I’m going to give you a free airbase! No charge and keep the change ;). Bad news: I’m not going to be able to post a turn til Monday. Going to a game convention in a couple hours for the weekend and going to completely burn myself out on everything :P.

    Sorry man, I was at Strategicon in LA. Made it to the finals and then ran into a cheat who was adding chips, rolling extra dice, and stalling to stretch out the game. Got 6 rounds in 13 hours and burned me out a helluva lot more than I expected. Should be able to post tonight. Again, sorry for the wait.

My gf noticed what was going on though and took a few pictures. A couple other players saw some shady stuff and told her as well. So I just quietly conceded around 1am and we gave our evidence to the GM who overturned the match and blacklisted the guy. The sad part was that he was still going to lose even after cheating, I just didn’t have the energy to stay up any later since I had to go to work Monday morning :P.
