That battle for Phi was deadly. When things started to go south in China… well.

Don’t like having to guess every turn whether you will declare war, and having to wait half the game to enter it
Chinese are glad for some help and Russians happy to be left alone for once, as are the Mongolians…
Don’t suppose there’s any decent counter-attack chance on 26.
Guess I have a couple weeks to meditate -
Yeah, J1 used to be the gold standard in the OBB. I thought I would see what it was like in Alpha3. The upside is that Japan can really kill a lot of stuff right away. More in fact than it does in a J3 or 4. 2nd, it deprives the allies of the ability to expand and build up via the DEI.
The downside obviously is that the US comes in right away.
So we will see. Maybe I’ve doomed the Axis, but tired of playing the same old game.
