yeah the flight path changes made a G2 sea lion threat non existent, and sea lion in BM3 never seemed like a great idea if UK didnt waste air in Round 1, so I figured why not. But I have zero clue how it plays out in this version.

@ksmckay It’s not that different. But factory and airfield purchase should always be punished with a Sealion if Japan hasn’t declared war.

yeah, limited experience on my part. havent seen a carrier buy with germany for a while, but with the bb and carrier, makes a big difference it seems. Used to buy 4 inf on UK1 and I guess thats why.

I dont know what the allies are supposed to do in pacific. 55 was barely safe after round 1, maybe its crazy for japan to attack it, but with any less units it seems like it would be tempting (for example if I kept the bb at india), and then I couldnt come close to positioning the US fleet anywhere useful. And then everything is completely out of position in round 2. Am i missing something or was setup designed to keep allies back after round 2? Seems like you will be able to take almost every target in pac without opposition and I couldnt figure out what to do? Guess that is the price of sending some units to europe but without those units seems like Egypt was undefendable (without the mIC, which also looks to be a mistake).

I setup to apply some pressure to Caro, but I dont really think its near enough. With no threats to any units, you can just defend Caro and leave the 8 transports undefended.

China and Russia are stronger in this game, Russia should have a bigger hand to play in how things play out in the Pacific. Japan also starts with a few less air, so they can’t keep buying carriers for as long as in G40.

@Adam514 I thought about dow on Japan with UK. could have taken out a unit or two and gotten some extra income for UK and Anzac. I would never do something like that in BM3 unless there were really nice fleet targets in play because it makes things so easy on Japan on J3 as well as delays US in atlantic. But in this case it seems like US wont be able to do anything useful in pacific anyway. It would delay US in atlantic if you decided to go for a g4 sea lion I suppose but you could decide to do that anyway.
Any thoughts?

@ksmckay I was expecting a DOW on Japan since Germany seems to be going for a G3 Sealion and US would be brought into the war on US3 anyway. I would declare war on Japan in BM3 as the UK/Anzac to kill a few units and get more income for sure with a Sealion in play.
