    @axis-dominion I think its probably a good move but it has a cost too. It both blocks an attack on Norway and also threatens the UK (and it will force me to keep the fleet close enough to counter any attempt to land in UK) and may force the US to spend more in the Atlantic than i want. Bu on the flip side, you can’t send those against Moscow. I’m not sure if I can, but one option for me is to think about ways to make them irrelevant.

    yah it did sacrifice a turn of land units against Moscow. but then again, would I really be able to build and send against Moscow with such a sizeable allied threat targeting all over the opposite fronts? so I figured it’s a good investment that also serves a potent counter threat. as for making them irrelevant, I don’t think you could really do that completely, because even if the navy was forced to fully tuck away into 113, it would still serve a strong defensive purpose even there, and still have some significant threat projection that will hang over you for a while.

    Yah things are pretty tight all over. It’s a close match and getting more epic by the round, but I’d say allies have a distinct economic edge.

    I’d like to think more about that Russian sub but can’t do in the moment (because it involves a lot of thinking of where the US and UK go). Thought you might be fine with me deciding on that after Japan goes. (Although I suppose it is possible that where japan goes will determine what the US/UK do in the atlantic too).

    Yeah. I’m pleasantly surprised that I have kept that this long in this game. But it certainly seems far from over.

    I think I had a couple of rounds of poor defensive rolling but in otherwise inconsequential battles. The luck came at the right time and this more than made up for it.
