that’s 3 huge battles that all went your way, in one game.

when that happens, usually it means it’s time for me to take a long break from gaming. going to wrap up my current ones and sit out for a while. luck has been dismal lately

That battle makes me wonder about the accuracy of the battle calc… I mean, I got just a few more than your R1 and that causes a cascading effect?

Not so sure…

Oh whatever, I think this game was kind of a stalemate waiting for something like this to happen, flip of the coin I guess

I think SL was going to go my way no matter what, but you are right about India.  That was helpful.  The Romania battle was insane for me.  But as I said, I serisouly wonder if the battle calc breaks down in huge battles…

yes I expected SL to go your way, for sure, but the point is, you got double the average there as well (expected 35, got 70). that makes quite a difference, especially so early on. all those leftover arts and tanks helped you hold off the Russians and allies enormously.

yeah, true.  I have to say, your use of allied planes is excellent… flying hither and tither to block me everywhere!

I was going to rush Hawaii but then stupidly realized you’d get India in a 1-2 punch… talk about failing to see the big picture.

by my calcs I would have gotten Hawaii but lost india… not a winning move since getting back Hawaii is much easier that taking back a US fortified india

Yah threatening India like that was the best way to pull you away from my vulnerable pacific areas. The 1-2 I attempted should’ve worked, but alas the dice were beyond bad.

Well regardless up until Romania one of the more interesting heart-wrenching games I’ve played in awhile.  You know where i am when you will seek you revenge.  :evil:

That was an enormously crazy battle. I think it is easily top 3 of large ground battles I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been around A&A since 1998.

I know how you feel! That is what initially triggered the break that due to life happening turned into a 3,5 year break for me.

yeah, but 4 extra hits out of 169 dice rolled round 1 is not that many proportionally…  I mean if you rolled 10 tanks and got 9 hits, that’s 4 extra out of ten, that’s massive…
