On Turn 1, the Japanese declared war on France and took over French-Indo China. I have this gnawing memory that Japan is better off NOT doing this (e.g., it allows the U.S. to declare war on Japan). However, my review of the rules and the results of simulations indicated no such bad consequences (other than the fact that an Ally can capture FIC and then can the 2 IPCs). If there are negative consequences that I am missing, please put my 2 Japanese infantry back in Siam and revert FIC to French control. Japan can always capture FIC later IF and after it becomes an Axis-leaning neutral or the negative consequences disappear or become bearable. Thanks. Art

yes, it is still a valid thing to do if your strategy depends on an earlier factory in fic, perhaps to rush india faster. so with this in mind too, do you still want me to change it so that you don’t take fic? let me know your final decision
