Edit was to undo a NCM for sub in sz 112. Its frustrating for Germany not to be able to project itself more in the Med. A big bomber fleet built up over many turns would help, combined with subs. Normally, I would have Germany take Vichy France. so it can build subs in the Med. But a ground troop wasn’t available when I wanted to take out Vichy. I don’t want to have to buy an I.C. in Yugo. I moved 14 troops into Bry, but its still not enough to conquer Moscow, despite Russia not building.

I knew Russia might build fighters, but didn’t calculate what it would do to the air battle odds if you built that many. I’m going to have to build more fighters and air defenses and make other adjustments.
I’m going to have to research prior games and opponents games on how other Axis players handled Allies going to Caroline, as my prior responses as the Japanese were not satisfactory or effective.

I looked at 2 league games as to how Japan handled Allies taking Caroline, and they didn’t have as strong a Japanese position. The combined Japanese fleet and the combined U.S. and ANZ fleets are similar in size and composition, with the advantage to the defender. So I figured my best defense was to defend Caroline in force
Need another edit but can’t do it: I didn’t unload marines to Caroline. But computer says I can’t unload without first removing transports. But I have no transports, they came by BB and CA. But computer won’t let me remove the BB or CA without out first removing the marines. I tried it in U.S. turn and still didn’t work. Please keep this in mind on your turn.
