Global 1940 Wittman and Private Panic vs Credulous and Elrood

Where is your spirit of adventure Seb?

@Private:
Where is your spirit of adventure Seb?
General Paulus: “Mein Fuhrer, we should not try to hold Stalingrad against the huge swarm of Russians, lets give it up and proceed to the Oil fields!”
Hitler: “Nonsense, where is your spirit of adventure?! Hold the city at all costs!” -
Hitler was always right Seb. It is a well known fact.

Imho: The point of this game is… realize when to play it risky and when to play it safe.
I was in similar situation against nerquen and had an army in Bryansk, while US had Norway with an IC and Air base.
My odds on Moscow were 70%, which would usually be enough to make be back off (and nerquen assumed that of me too), but! I was desperate since US and UK were starting to fly in fighters via Norway and Persia, and my odds would have decreased every turn after.
So I went for it and won with a big surplus of survivors -> won the game.
My odds now were better than the 70% I had versus nerquen, but here I feel no rush. Wester Europe is totally secure and Russia can only put in units worth of 20 IPCs - no allied planes nearby. While I could additionally muster units of a value of about 120 IPC for the following turn.

I feel a lot of good troops russian wandered off and are now missing in moscow…Â :oops:
Which of course means we aren’t having to go through the pain of waiting for another complete round of goes before you have safe enough odds to actually attack Moscow….
Your welcome everybody.

Woa?? The white flag?
