whoops, just saw your posts…. yeah, didn’t attack 96 although it seemed interesting… trading my planes for your ships would not provide a long term solution given you have an CV in the wings.
Also, that would have been a pretty close battle… if the dice tipped against me it would have been bad…
No sure about the dd block? Where was that suppose to go?
I guess, just go with the last map I posted as I didn’t go for any risky battles…. :-P
I happy to see that you opted out of the sz96 battle. While you only had about 21% chance to sink my hope of a strong aggression against Egypt on the average battle your ipc loss would not be that much greater than mine. But I suppose Egypt would get even harder to defend. So you want to stick with the current version or do you want some “free” dd’s to sink?

My new version had two dd’s from sz36 in sz56 and sz46. I also moved one ss from sz42 to sz36. I suppose it is easiest if you list the battles and roll them in the forum and edit in the result? Feel free to redo the Caro battles if you think you would have opted to use that fighter to dd hunt instead if given the option… :-)

My guess is you don’t have the ss move on your map so I’ll edit it in.
Unless you think you would have used the Caro fighter for your dd hunt in that case feel free to add it to the only rolled battle and see if the result changes or if my luck sticks… :evil:
Perhaps just roll the dice and I edit it in since it won’t affect Italy’s turn I can start on your edited map.

huh, you had 2 dd’s in there? Crap, I didn’t check the map, I just followed what you posted.
that will change a lot of stuff and I’ll have to go back to US since I obviously would not have attacked 2 dd’s with 1 ss and 1 ftr…
or do you just want to go forward?

No you got it right I moved two dd to two seazones so one to each, but I’m fine either so if you want me to rededit the version you started with that’s fine. I didn’t post my version since we were past it. In any event none of this will change my German move so if you want things different you can edit it on Russias turn.

well, given the battles as is, you have only 1 ss that needs to be edited in as far as I understand. Everything else should be ok. I never attacked with a DD, so couldn’t hit your sub anyway… all hits were with the ftr for me.

by this I mean, the map I just posted should be correct except for 1 ss you have
I edited in the ss on your UK DD map before I did Italy, the ss went to from sz42 to sz36 so it was not part of any battle, so everything is as it should be.
