After the Grey Germans are complete they are going to make Black Germans to satisfy all those gamers that want to use FMG units with OOB units. Also for those that want FMG units exclusively but want some black ones to use for SS units.
I’ve already got in an order for the Grey Germans and I’m going to get the Black Germans too….just because I WANT them.

i think fmg said they weren’t going to make black ones till they sell 1000 grey sets, which sucks for me since i only wanted the black ones -_-

I don’t think they actually have to SELL 1000 sets of the Grey Germans, they just have to place the order, get them delivered and fill all their pre-orders. Once they make an order of the first 1000 set run, which I believe is the minimum that they can order to make it worth the while of both FMG and the factory, then they can proceed with Black German units. That should go very quickly after delivery of the Grey German units because they are using the same mould and plastic. All they have to do is change from grey to black and start pumping them out.
Hee hee, all this is making me giddy.

I’ve been checking the mail everyday! I’m such a worry-wort.
I once ordered some cassettes and cds and when I got the box it was empty! It had been opened and resealed - apparently at the postal distribution center! The company I ordered from was cool about it and replaced everything. Then another time I was anxiously waiting for UPS - which I had tracked online and knew was coming. I saw the truck pull up in front of the house and I ran outside making it around the house just in time to see the truckam pull away and leave. At first I was puzzled and disappointed because there was no package at my door and they left in such a hurry. Then I noticed a package at the neighbors door - I went and checked and wouldn’t you know it it was for me. They delivered to the wrong house! Thank goodness I was there (I didn’t trust the neighbors).
Anyway - I’ve ordered a lot of things before without any problems so I’m sure it will be fine. :roll: Just a little nervous. (How many FMG sets am I going to have to go through this? sigh!) :-P

I got great delivery from FMG, wouldn’t worry… but i guess your post office might be worrisome …

But, when did you order yours? I think it was last December when I placed my order.

Yeah, UPS likes to do that, just drop off the package and run away. Since I work nights and sleep during the day, I have to admit it is kind of convenient. Especially since I don’t have a problem with my neighbors now and when I get up, my package will be sitting there waiting on me. Plus, usually my packages aren’t something so expensive. One time it really bugged me though. I ordered a new computer through Fingerhut, about $1500 worth of stuff. UPS just left it on my porch and ran off. Luckily I was up and at home that day.

Hey knp7765, I work at night too! I’ve done that for the past three years now. It seems as if you never really get used to it though - but I suppose I like it. Most of the people I play Axis and Allies with work with me on my shift so that helps. One guy keeps asking me every day if I’ve gotten the Italian pieces yet. Hopefully one day soon I’ll be able to tell him yes! Of course, then he’ll start asking about the German pieces - lol. Sigh.
What’s funny is that event though I know better every morning when I get home from work I check by the front door to see if any packages arrived for me. As if they are going to deliver in the middle of the night! :roll:

I’ve had this shift for nearly 7 years now. For the most part, I like the hours, though it makes some social life/family gatherings kind of tough. For a long time, I kept having family members inviting me to stuff in the middle of the day and I have to keep explaining that I am asleep at that time. It hasn’t happened for a while so maybe when I didn’t show up enough times, they got the hint. They probably think I’m just being stuck-up or unsociable.
What’s hard on my game group isn’t the hours so much, but my “weekend” which is Monday/Tuesday nights.
Yeah, I’m anxioius to get my Italian pieces and new combat dice too. Really looking forward to ANZAC and France having their own dice. I got my UPS notification of a package from FMG and the projected delivery date is the 17th, although it also says they don’t actually have the package yet and when they do, tracking and delivery date will be updated. So, still not sure exactly how much longer I have to wait, but at least I know it’s getting really close now. -
Does everyone have their Italians yet? I pre-ordered and still don’t have them. I know that FMG said they would ship last Monday at least that is what I thought he said. I live in Missouri so it is not like I live in a remote place.Just curious anybody else not have theirs?

Nope. I’m in the UK and I’m still waiting. Expect 'em in maybe another week? I don’t know…

I live in Kansas and I’m still waiting too. I got a UPS e-mail Friday but every time I check the tracking, it says they haven’t gotten the package yet. It’s starting to seem like everytime I think I’m close to getting my order, something else pushes it back a little farther.

Does everyone have their Italians yet? I pre-ordered and still don’t have them. I know that FMG said they would ship last Monday at least that is what I thought he said. I live in Missouri so it is not like I live in a remote place.Just curious anybody else not have theirs?
Nope and I haven’t received any shipping info either. I thought he said they shipped from China though - en route to HIM not us yet. At least that’s what I had in my head.

Same here, I have a tracking number and an e-mail saying I was to recieve it today and yet nothing has come so I guess UPS is having issues.
