I played at chess.com, too.
But although I know a lot of Grandmasters (it is weird, I guess it is 6+ I know, 3 of them 2600+) I am just a hobby player that would be rated about 1800 at best if I ever started playing seriously.

but btw, no need to ask for OOL after sub hits. This is just a tripleA flaw. As Axis has DDs present he is allowed to see the full roll before deciding on OOL.
Thus, you are forced to make assumptions (such as tip BB and 4 Carriers) and then might be in trouble in case you e.g. whiff everything then and the opponent says “Well, nah, just tip BB, 1 carrier, and sink 3 subs”:D
But I am afraid nothing we can do about

Solid. Many people fail to understan how diffcult it is to get in the 1900-2000 range and how much work is required for that.
I once had a phase in which I tried to become a 2000+ player, motivated by the “crowd” of GMs that could support me, but I then lost the motivation when I realized how hard it is to progress in chess.
Thus I ended up playing A&A^^

@666 As said. Assuming something (usually max defense), then waiting for the rest, then ask for OOL and if it differs from your assumption, roll the rest in the forum…

One way is to restart the battle with edited causalties. A bit cumbersome, but possible. In this situation I guess max defense works quite fine.

Yes, definitely takes some studying, practise and experience. I mainly just play for fun, so also hobby level here. Tonight it’s a team match though with our prime team which is aspiring to win it’s division in the regional championship.

Yes, 63. 30 hp.

2 tacthe american hit total was 17…5 sub and then 12, fr the five sub hits I tipped the BB & 4 CV’s, now you need to select 12 additional hits.
You have 3 sub, 2 DD, 4 damaged CV’s, 1 whole CV, 1 damaged BB, 1 Cr, 5 tac’s & 5 Fgt’s…
max D would be sinking 3 subs, sinking the 2 dd, tipping the whole CV, sinking the 5 CV’s and losing a tac or the CR.
considering dice like this makes you appreciate JDOW not losing a game all year long! Now that is crazy.

It appears to me trulpen already considered the 5 subs hits? Otherwise he would have tipped the Bb. Looks like the additional hits after you damaged bb and 4 ac.
