I’d like to see this play out at least another turn but I expect I can retake a victory city maybe one more time and that won’t be enough.
And I just realized I probably had a much better option for that whole turn. Sigh.
Instead of Berlin, I should have just taken Norway with the US and take Poland with a single British transport. Could have conserved my forces and maybe more securely taken Novgorod.

just realized, I missed a small chance to make twice the profit out of Holland had I taken it with italy. ah well, I wanted to max attack normandy.
I was too optimistic about it earlier and then just to eager to see what happens. It still would have been difficult but I suspect I would have bought me a few more turns where the US could have brought more pressure on Germany
