    I’m not sure what to say, Karl. I appreciate your generosity in letting me move the German planes to the right part of Italy – but I don’t think I would have scrambled against your fleet after you added the fighter from Malta. It turns it from a battle that favors me (Axis 18 punch, 6 HP vs. Allied 14 punch, 6 HP) to a battle that favors you (Axis 18 punch, 6 HP vs. Allied 18 punch, 7 HP).

    That’s why I said

    So, if you are willing, we can move those planes to South Italy, give you a chance to adjust your UK1 move, and then I can tell you whether I’m scrambling based on your new move.

    I figured once you realized I had planes to scramble, you might bring in more forces, and then I might decide not to scramble.

    I don’t want to be a pain, but losing three planes just to take out an extra British sub and destroyer kind of sucks for me.

    Oh, and the Malaya swap is no problem – you just want to switch out a British infantry for an ANZAC infantry, or something like that? Or switch an infantry from Burma to Yunnan? Anything like that is fine; I don’t mind.

    oh, well, the ftr from Malta wold have gone in regardless,  So you will not scram then?  No biggy if not.  I got 4 hits r1 so the bb, cc would die.  You would get only 1 hit in response, so I would lose hit to sub.  I will modify.

    All right, my understanding is that other than the Dutch East Indies, aircraft can’t land on a pro-neutral territory that hasn’t been activated yet. The rules state that you can’t fly over pro-neutral territories, so if you can’t fly over them, it stands to reason that you can’t land in 'em, either. I’ve found a couple of sources that agree with me on BoardGameGeek and StackExchange. I’m willing to be corrected if you’ve got something from axisandallies.org that says otherwise. If fighters can land on pro-neutral territories, then I’m going to change my plans and attack Greece to deny the British fighters a landing spot there when Germany smacks your Med fleet on G2. Otherwise, here’s my turn:
