Just to add that have just won 40 global as axis against medium AI. Seemed too easy and I was not challenged to really work it all out. One question - what are Jap suicide points and how do I use them?

Each one has a 33% chance of hitting. Once used up, there are no more.
Can use one a turn or all six, in one SZ or in up to six.
They negate a naval Bombardment.
And if you get a hit, the ship cannot shoot back (unless it is a Battkeship or Carrier and still afloat).
