You have won.I did expect you to have a go at both the Gib fleet - you have to! - and the T/port. (I sacrificed the T/port in order to remove your north African force, despite moving my fleet to threaten you in the Atlantic.) G then has a go at your Atlantic fleet - which should be a little smaller than it would have been. Even if G loses that battle its greater ipc position and ability to deploy against London should tell through however many battles it took.
J rebuilds its fleet next go, meaning the US is having to defend both London & Manila. I only need one of them I think. Not sure which way I would send the just placed supporting G Med fleet, but London ought to be the better bet, given J’s relative weakness.
Happy to win this one and lose the next! Do the US to finish the final turn and I’ll start a new game tomorrow.

Would you have tried those air attacks on the north Atlantic fleet? Two now and both went badly wrong!
But I did the same early in the game and won!
And it was the surprise crossing of the Indian Ocean by the US which floored my African campaign. You out-thought me there.
So perhaps it should be “there will always be an England provided it gets the luck of the dice and is rescued by the Yanks”?
