@cds I guess it’s ok to play with LL. I’ve never played that way before so it may be interesting to see how it goes.

Bloody Hell! That is at laest the fourth time I have been frustrated by a battle. The Bombardment missed for third time and I could not roll a 2 in 6 rolls of two dice, then the one vs one two.
Do your Jap go, as I will do something sneaky, to show you how to bend the rules. My fleet might survive. And I will get your pesky Med TT. Can you See what I mean?
I can’t win though, as your income is still increasing and the TUV is going forever in your favour. -
If you have time, please set up a second game. You cAn add a Sub to SZ37 and an Inf to Egypt and India.
Can start it in this thread, after my US go. -

We’ll see whether I can work out what you have planned. Sounds devious!

-
No, you are playing the Allies. You need to start the game. Don’t worry if you are having problems doing it though. I found it hard at first. Just need to be calm and follow the instructions. (Something I can’t do.)
This way you can say you are two nil against me. Should be able to stop me, now you know my moves. -

Let’s finish game 1 first. You can tarnish my glorious victory with a US sneaky ploy!

Do you mean US fighters then able to land in Gib, Morocco, or on an AC in the Atlantic? But that’s not “bending the rules”?
Done J’s very boring go - decided too early to offer a new fleet up to US fighters.
Cheers

Bank of Japan, is it?
I am out now until at least 4. But I will sink the TT in the Med with a Ft from NY and send the other two units and the whole Channel fleet against uour Gib fleet. I will retreat after one round and have both fleets in the Channel. With any luck I will get more hits than you (for once). You will still have what survives and the 8 Air units in Germany. You will
Probably still have a 50/50 against me.
You have won. -
Ok, it is using the rules.
I don’t know why I moved my US Sub out of range of Japan. I had been keeping it there, just in case. Is useless where it is . -

You have won.I did expect you to have a go at both the Gib fleet - you have to! - and the T/port. (I sacrificed the T/port in order to remove your north African force, despite moving my fleet to threaten you in the Atlantic.) G then has a go at your Atlantic fleet - which should be a little smaller than it would have been. Even if G loses that battle its greater ipc position and ability to deploy against London should tell through however many battles it took.
J rebuilds its fleet next go, meaning the US is having to defend both London & Manila. I only need one of them I think. Not sure which way I would send the just placed supporting G Med fleet, but London ought to be the better bet, given J’s relative weakness.
Happy to win this one and lose the next! Do the US to finish the final turn and I’ll start a new game tomorrow.
-
afternoon. I am swapping my 4 ground units (13) for 2 more Subs and save one .
Wish me luck! -
