PHOTOEX, 2001 off the coast of Spain….I must have found four different trash cans on watch…we got tossed more than a salad that day! Only other day in 16 years that was bad for me was Dec 2012 leaving from Japan…I became king of projectile vomit! Other than that I normally don’t have a problem…I blame greasy sliders/spaghetti respectively! (DISCLAIMER: sorry for any images that might come to mind! I take no responsibility for anything that happens from your sick imagination :wink:)!

Well sir, I am having flashbacks, but not of myself throwing up chunks! I mean, who gets sick on an air craft carrier? My buddy and I used to sit at breakfast at 5 in the morning in the North Atlantic, or off South Africa, and make guys sick. We would see the pansies wearing a Dramamine patch and start moving our food trays side to side while we ate. It never failed to make the poor Airedales sick and running for the head in 5 minutes or less!!! :evil:

I am not a great traveller. I need to be driving. I can’t stand being in the back of a car when on mountain roads and have always felt a little sick when on the ferry crossing the Channel! I never thought I had a problem with planes either; effectively I have been on hundreds. we always flew to Italy at least 3 times a day and I first flew when 8 months old, from Italy to England. Lately taking off affects me. I have always been scared of heights. I never climb the beautiful towers we visit in the Italian towns n=and cities.
I have climbed the Duomo in Florence.
I am sure you two could make me vom! -
Corrections: 3 times a year and I have NEVER climbed the Duomo.
I did go half way up the tower in Pisa and half way up the Bell Tower in Florence. Never looking down! -

Corrections: 3 times a year and I have NEVER climbed the Duomo.
I did go half way up the tower in Pisa and half way up the Bell Tower in Florence. Never looking down!You should try walk to the front of an aircraft carrier and looking straight down over the edge, and if you survive doing so while in the ocean, then try it in a drydock!

I can’t remember if being up high on the ferry and looking down bothered me at all. Just the hard floor gets my head spinning. Water is calming.
Been a while since I drove to France or Italy now. We fly now we have Maddy.
I do miss driving carefree at 120 MPH+ on foreign motorways. -
I have never been on a ship or in an aircraft. so I cant relate. sounds like its better that I cant.
