    Yeah, you had poor dice or in other words, I had great dice vs US, UK gave you compensation however.

    Amon, I know you want to keep a certain game flow which is great, however I would like that we agree in important and big battles to wait for casualty choices.
    The US attack I have to say I can understand why you went for max defense on my behalf choosing 2 hits on the AC, leaving the planes for a crash. I guess you would never have retreated and left me with one defense more. In hindsight I lost a plane by that but I guess we both agree that I could not have known to make 7/8 defense hits, so I am fine here.

    The last casualty choice however was a clear no go. Your last bomber hit and you removed a Fighter. This left me with less defense for the upcoming UK-attack which is a clear disadvantage for me. Funny thing is that both 3’s rolled a 4 in round 1 vs UK:) I would have claimed one more hit round one. As you missed round 2, the outcome is the same.

    Casualty choice is part of the strategy of the game and there is room for mistakes. I e.g. blundered on the Japanese casualty choice vs US, misclicked and saved the Tacs while I should have saved the Figs for the upcoming counter attacks. Imagine I would have made that in defense mode while your decision would have been better maybe?!:)

    So can we agree to wait for casualty choice in battles where this is not blatantly obvious?

    i had no idea that i would be attacking with uk a minute later

    i saw it by accident as a possibility, risky one but possibility when i was starting my uk move

    so u had a great shoot there against me and U would probably chosen the same unit for casualty to keep the better unit

    thanks for that post btw! I believe you, you did not make the OOL on purpose to weaken my defense. However, once you realized the UK attack, I think you should have edited it back and put the Fig on, in case one does OOL for the opponent, it has to be in the best possible way, especially in the last round when no future dice could have influenced it and when there is a double move with no time to react.

    But enough now about the OOL stuff, we have an agreement now and fine, thanks!

    regarding 55: Yes, it was an up and down. First the initial battle went in your favor, the next not at all, the third again the the coinflip in the last was bad because both Battleships survived. So all in all, if I could have chosen that outcome before my Japanese attack, I would have probably taken it.

    The question is: In case the initial battle runs normal or even good for me, what you then even have still made the suicide attacks? No idea but in fact, I have never seen this level of annihilation in the Pacific in Round 4 in any game so far. I mean: Russian Air fighting in SZ55 Round 4, how weird is that?^^
