    Hey Amun,

    I am afraid we have a rule-Issue here. I am really sorry I did not point this out earlier, but I asked Gamerman and I was really not sure and he could not reply immediately due to internet connection problems.

    You made an illegal move during your UK Pacific move.
    You cannot move the Battleship during the Combat move phase to queensland and then conduct combat in the SZ with the DD.
    A TT does not make an SZ hostile, so you cannot leave the SZ in a combat move ending in a friendly SZ.

    I guess we can both agree that my IT1 was not affected at all by this.
    You can redo you ANZ and Fre1 if you want and you can also redo your UK PAC1 if you want as no dices have been rolled except for Ethopia which I consider to be not affected and I accept that result.

    Please let me know what you think, however I hope you understand I cannot just let me TT go. Again sorry for the late notive, I really wasn’t sure and I did not want to make an issue without any confirmation.

    Anzac btw also meets the NO, I assume you just accidentally made the DOW at the end of the turn and not before the conduct combat phase.

    No, you can’t;) And gamerman already confirmed that, the rules are also clear about it:
    Europe 2nd edition:

    If you are sharing a sea zone with surface warships (not
    submarines and/or transports)
    belonging to a power with
    which you are at war, this situation requires you to do one
    of the following:
    • Remain in the sea zone and conduct combat,
    • Leave the sea zone, load units if desired, and conduct
    combat elsewhere,
    • Leave the sea zone, load units, and return to the same
    sea zone to conduct combat (you can’t load units while
    in a hostile sea zone), or
    • Leave the sea zone and conduct no combat.
    Once these sea units have moved and/or participated in
    combat, they can’t move or participate in the Noncombat Move phase of that turn

    See bold. A TT does not make a seazone hostile, so you may not leave that SZ during the combat move phase ending in a friendly sea zone.

    Sidenote:
    And this is not possible by definition, also stated in the rules, either all or none fight, it is not possible to keep selected units out of a battle.

    Tried it and does not work either. I may try to load your ZH1 file and I might try to redo your UK turn and edit the results of IT and G2. A bit fizzy but I see no alternative right now.

    Yeah, unfortunately the tripleA client is not the perfect gatekeeper to make sure the rules are met during all phases of the game. Gamerman has a long list of little bugs which have to be fixed. this is one of it.

    Hey Amon (Sorry again I really hate spelling names incorrectly, this happens rarely to me),

    it fiddled around and reconstructed the moves from UK1 and edited them to the real and posted combat results. Now everything works again. TripleA seems to have a problem with political relationships changed in edit mode. I am quite confident the file is identical to your posted RU2 file.

    Some notes:

    • Please check the file if everything is correct. You now also have the correct income which is 15 more total than in the previous version;)

    • Regarding the Transporter. I am pretty much sure that the rules did not allow your move. However I already said I accept the map because I wanted to do G2 before I go to bed as I go to bed earlier and wanted to give you the chance to do RU2 while I am asleep:)

    So: I leave this up to you. If you’d like to make any changes to avoid the mistake, I would be glad about it, but if no, I will fully accept it and continue with my J2. Please let me know how you want to proceed.

    • I realized you made an Edit during your Anzac move and relocated the US Philippines DD and Sub. It’s really a minor issue because it looks obvious you just forgot them. However, there have been dices rolled in between and the fact I scored zero hits in Yunnan can certainly affect the decision whether to do unprovoked or not with UK/Anzac which imo could have an effect on how to deploy your US ships because there are alternative options but moving them to Queensland.
      Small issue and I am fine with it. I would just ask you to at least mention such edits after your move to at least give me the chance to review it.
