Let Triple A duke it out on Java, and you won with 1 arty remaining, which makes me feel better that they never even landed. They would have got slaughtered (improbably) anyway. :-P

This creates an interesting scenario.

If I retreat, the sub has to retreat also. But I can submerge if I go another round. That’s what I’ll do.Sub submerges, and USA fighters try again

It gets confusing.
Anyway, the sub stayed there after sinking the battleship, your fighters sunk my transports before they could retreat, and my sub sunk your transports.

I am still not sure about the bomber in sz95 if I need it and if it adds significant value. But looked somehow better:)

Do you? Usually a more complicated positions favors the better player. But I can imagine that even for you, such positions can be more work than fun and especially with several game sin parallel I understand where you coming from.
I of course appreciate it too, but obv. because more Axis than Allies units left the map due to incredibly good dices! Even if i sounds strange I am somehow relieved the BB and TT did not survive. this would have turned the battle from extremely good to ridiculous. With the BB and TT alive I would even dare to say my position in the Pacific would have been better. Now I am less behind but Japan is not in real trouble thanks to your foresight - to send the Germans for support - which I think now pays of well!

thanks! No Dice with UK actually to be done. Done for tonight with that game. Of course a very good round 10 so far for me. The straw to hope for a miracle is not cut through yet. And when the most likely outcome of defeating me comes true, another proof that single dice swings cannot overcome a significant skill gap!
