Its easier for both of us if you post the combat move first when asking about scramble or intercept–then I don’t need to open the file and you don’t need to go through your movements twice.
Also please let me know if you’ve been having any issues with TripleA. I’ve been thinking of writing up a post talking about solutions to the most common problems people have with TripleA, so I’d like to know about any kind of problems or bugs people are experiencing.
I’ll pass on scramble, though it’s a tough call in both spots.

Ok, will do.
My BIGGEST problem with triplea is that it toggles for scramble first thing in a combat cycle, which would be fine, but you can’t back out of it to save the game. If you accidentally click into conduct combat it locks and you have to crash it.

My BIGGEST problem with triplea is that it toggles for scramble first thing in a combat cycle, which would be fine, but you can’t back out of it to save the game.� If you accidentally click into conduct combat it locks and you have to crash it.
Hmm. The scramble toggle is definitely annoying and needs revision, but I was able to save a game while the toggle is up. In any case, posting the combat move (as you just did above) should negate the issue.

FYI I edit back the Japanese fleet from Haw. They killed your combat ships R1, and I stupidly clicked through instead of retreating. So I edit them back and left your trn there.
Also in the Phi you killed my last art on the last round and again I clicked through too quickly instead of taking off a ftr for art to survive. So I edited it.
I also see I forgot to move forward into China. I did not edit that.

I hate to pile on but I don’t think it’s legal to retreat the naval to 31. They came from 6, and as far as I’m aware plane movements don’t impact where ships can retreat to.
