Either continue with the 2.6 savegame, that means we cannot profit from the updates -
or start again and profit from the updates?

2.7
-Fixing Strategic Bombers so that they add +2 damage onto raids.
-Allowed USA to go to war if Japan declares war on ANZAC / UK.
-Added one missing UK infantry to Egypt.
-Dropped price of Cruisers to 9, when you have shipyards tech.
I already added the missing Infantry before. As we did not consider technology I suppose we play without it.
This leaves the first two points for us.

Hey P@nther….I see you moved into French Indo-China. Do you realize by doing so, you gave up the 10 IPC NO Japan gets for not declaring war on the US/UK/Anzac/French?
I am attacking sz97, so I will need scramble orders. Here is a copy of the map before any attack rolls.
If you do not scramble, I assume the order of loss is damage battleship, cruiser, then battleship.
If you do scramble, would you like the cruiser to be sunk before the fighters are shot down?
I will look at this in the morning before I go to work and post if you have replied.

the updates of 2.7 have no effects on our current game. You can see this in the first line of the turn post. It is still 2.6 although you updated the map.
That is why I asked you to eventually restart the game - then playing 2.7.
So we have to manually change stratbombing still. I don’t know how the US declare war-issue may affect our game.

Ouch…I did not realize that, thank you for pointing this out to me. After rereading the NO’s in Alpha 3 I see what you mean. I would of course not have done this.

Sounds like a good idea to me. We can restart and that way the strat bombing will be taken care of as well as no attack by Japan in FIC
After looking on Wikipedia, I believe I am UTC-5:00….it is Eastern Standard time zone in the US
If you do want to restart and you do the same attack with Germany, there will be no scrambling
I’m fine with restarting.
I will do the same attack on G1 when I’m back home this evening.
